A modification of the crossed structure is employed for these beautiful small books. The pages are sewn to the crossed straps of the upholstery leather covers, and the straps are held in position with hand-made rawhide or other buttons. The leather used in these books is from a batch of upholstery samples. We have a variety of lovely colors, but each swatch will make only two books.

The leather is lined with decorative paper. We use all sorts of exotic papers, and choose one specially for each book.
