The grain in the basswood panels was the inspiration for the painted tree trunks and foliage. The painting is done in watery acrylics, creating a misty, enchanted woodland. The sixteen panels are sewn together in a single sheet coptic style. The cords were unravelled and stitched individually through the wood, ending in antique glass seed beads.
